Your average chicken rice. We ordered The Original. They nailed the rice and soup. The rice was fragrant, the good ol’ scent of chicken rice. Soup was good. The chicken tasted good with the sauce. Otherwise, it would be quite bland. We ordered takeout because the place was small. Only 2 tables and they were all occupied.

Great price, 13 dollars for chicken over rice with a soup on the side and a sauce. Although their ginger scallion sauce isn't as savory as most places, I'd happily come again for their fast service and streamlined menu. Good place if you are on a time crunch. Not sure how but there's also an option for extra skin too!

Rooster & Rice was always a place where I go when I needed a quick and healthy meal. Their white rice with chicken is extremely good and always hit the spot. The prices are quite high but comparing to some places in stone town it's on the more affordable side.

A place to go for chicken rice pick up or a quick meal. Located inside stone town galleria, busy traffic. Chicken is tender, sauce is delicious - can taste the fresh garlic and ginger and sweet soy. Rice is fragrant and not heavy. Broth is well balanced too. Simple, contemporary design. 4 choices menu. Fast and friendly service.

Food was good. Tried the Marina and one of their specials, the pork entree with soft boiled eggs. Enjoyed the sauce and broth on side, just right. Prices are "SF average"(as I like to say now), but portions are generous. Small bit of a wait, but they were just opening for the day so it's understandable and the food was fresh, hence wait. Quite a line when I passed by again later in day, so consider ordering ahead or coming in early. One of the more healthy options in the mall, imo. Would come back again.
