It was amazing! Firstly, the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, the service is unobtrusive. Secondly, the dishes are served on wonderful dishes - the plates are magnificent. Thirdly, the preparation itself is like balm for the soul. The food itself is simply magical! First they served a salad with grapes, from which we fell silent and could not even speak, savouring this aroma and taste of grapes, fish and sauce! And I am delighted with the amazing taste of sea urchin and caviar, the combination of ingredients - it's the bomb! It's divine! Yes, it's not cheap, but it's worth it. The restaurant is difficult to find - they do not spend money on a sign and advertising. It's just in a house, on the first floor, without a sign or lights, the blinds are lowered - a navigator will help you. Special thanks to the waitress from Serbia named Bojana - charming and will tell you a lot about the dishes. I highly recommend gourmets and aesthetes to visit this restaurant. I will definitely come back here soon!

Robin is a restaurant that's tucked in a corner and is difficult to find. We booked the restaurant probably a week and half in advance to ensure that we secured a counter seat where you get served straight from the chef themselves. Atmosphere is really nice. We had great vibes in there and everyone is friendly. Our chef today was Gary and he was excellent. Everything I tried today was great quality and had me smiling with every bite. I was never a fan of Uni but this place changed my mind and now I friggin love Uni. We had a total of 23-25 pieces and was extremely filling. If you ever swing by, try out the place. You won't regret it.

Expensive food but amazing quality and delicious. The only two dishes I could’ve gone without would be their potato chip dish and the noodles; I would’ve rather supplemented them with more fish, given the expensive price. Would return & recommend to others!

We did omakase here for date night! The food was great but I don’t think it was worth the price. It was great sashimi and the add-on flavors/smoke/sauces did elevates the taste, however it was soooo expensive for very little fish. My husband loved each sushi piece, as did I, but I would’ve loved it the same as if I were in a lower tier sushi experience without the added sauces. It felt very ~extra~ The noodles included in the cheapest omakase option ($109) were absolutely horrendous, as well as the soup was just offensively plain and basic. The alcohol was also overpriced in my opinion, but maybe that is all of California lol. The worst part of the experience I have to say was our sushi chef who didn’t even attempt to be personable for 2 seconds, spent the rest of the time clearly unhappy at his job and reciting what we were eating like he was reading the most boring book ever. Here are some direct quotes: “Oh I have never been to any omakase restaurants just this one, and only because I work here,” “I don’t know [anything about the area] I just got this job a few months ago,” and “Are any of you guys insta famous? Because that would be really annoying.” 🤣

Robin was a fantastic experience. Everything served was outstanding. Our chef (Kay) was the best, and the additional servers were great as well. Love the music, and the approachable open setting. Will definitely be back when I’m in SF next
