Wow, what an experience. Mehdi was our server and took amazing care of us. The food was phenomenal (the butter cake is to DIE for), service was on point, and the ambiance is lovely. Definitely worth a trip if you've never been.

Original Joe’s is a true gem! The service here is excellent—staff are attentive, welcoming, and make sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. The food is phenomenal. The meatballs are a standout, bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. As for the entrees, the veal piccata and mashed potatoes are nothing short of a chef’s kiss—rich, tender, and absolutely satisfying. And if you’re looking for a drink, be ready! The cocktails are strong and expertly crafted, adding the perfect touch to an already wonderful meal. Highly recommend Original Joe’s for anyone craving a top-tier dining experience!

We stopped in for my daughter’s birthday and what a treat it was. We loved the environment, the food was amazing and the staff was friendly, helpful and very efficient. We all did various pastas since that was our mood for the evening, but the entire menu looked tempting. Keep in mind this place is popular, so be prepared for a small wait if you’re there during peak hours. All that said, we highly recommend and are looking forward to stopping back soon!

Hmm! Comfort food! We were both tired and hungry after work and neither on of us was in the mood to coo dinner, so we changed shoes and started up the hill towards Washington Square Park with only one goal in mind, finding comfort food! Half the way up the hill we both agreed on Original Joe's. What we had forgotten was the fact that we were smack in the middle of Dreamforce week! We get to the restaurant and it is PACKED! Fortunately a table for two had just opened up and we got it. We ordered the eggplant and chicken parmigiana for our main course, but the highlight for both of us was steamed Mussels as the appetizer! The Mussels were fresh and the sauce ......!!! Oh man!! So delicious! After eating the Mussels and half a load of bread dunked in the sauce, there was not much room left for the rest, but we valiantly tried before giving up half the way though and requesting boxes to take the rest home! Both dishes were delicious and there was so much of them! Read "next day's lunch"!

This place requires reservations. Gets very busy during the weekends. Food is amazing! The wait times are crazy for walk-ins. Service can definitely be better. The indoor atmosphere is great. We got a table outside and no service was provided for more than 30 mins. Service needs to be better.
