I came here almost a month ago with a friend while visiting the city for work. I love cafes and especially matcha, and saw this place had good ratings on google so I made sure this would be something I couldn't miss. I loved the minimalist and peaceful interior decor. It was very clean and bright, with lots of natural light and soft lighting used as more of an accent. I took lots of pictures of different elements I liked and tried to do a few videos too because I knew I wouldn't be back since I live in a different country, but wanted to share it with friends who love this city like I do. Unfortunately one of the tearistas thought I was filming them and understandably wasn't happy - I personally censor people out when I know I don't have their consent, and I don't really go out of my way broadcasting content EVERYWHERE and I don't have a big following on social media. It was a bit of a turn off that even when I apologized and explained myself, they kind of never stopped looking at me with disgust and annoyance. In terms of the food, I got their matcha brownie. I didn't like the way it tasted like a protein bar. I think there are ways to make vegan food taste like the original. It was not my style and I ended up throwing half of it. The portion was really big though! It was a good value. I got their matcha slush as it was a warm 26 C day and I regrettably chose to wear an outfit meant for 10 C weather. It was great but it was ~$10 USD (=$14 CAD) which honestly felt like a scam. Is all matcha in this city priced this way??????? They have a private backyard patio with white wooden benches and fencing. I loved that this place was like a private peaceful getaway from all the hustle and bustle of this city.
