I tried the Vanilla Zen from their creative latte section, and it was absolutely delicious—flavorful and crafted to perfection. I loved that I could customize my drink to my liking. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick, making the experience even more enjoyable. Alongside their lattes, they offer small treats and other goods for purchase. I highly recommend this café for anyone looking for a flavorful matcha experience with great service! Will go back to try other items on the menu.

Ever since I switched from coffee to matcha, I've been searching for an all-matcha café with unique drinks, and Matchaful is exactly that! This place is wonderful, with great staff, amazing drinks, and tasty pastries. It's also super vegan-friendly! - @theveganvegeta

My favorite matcha in the city! I love their baked goods (especially the donuts and matcha brownie). Great options if you are gluten free and want to avoid refined sugars. Only downside is the location can get really crowded so it’s usually best to get it to go.

I know everyone loves this place but as a matcha fanatic who has been here a couple of times now I don’t get the hype. I DO love that the whole place is plant-based so all of their products and drinks you have to worry. Their sweeteners are unrefined. First, I don’t understand how a plant-based place charges for alt milk. Yes, you can have their oat milk for free but anything else is a charge. And their food/bakery items are so expensive. I mean $9 for a small cookie or overnight oats etc… it’s just a little ridiculous even if it does has some matcha in it and even in NYC. Now as far as the matcha, it doesn’t taste as great as I would expect a ceremonial matcha to taste. I buy directly from Japan and this is not high quality to me. I tried their straight matcha, au lait and strawberry version. And when I ordered the strawberry with no ice, it wasn’t filled all the way and there was barely any strawberry in it. Overall, you should try it and see if you like it. I think Cha Cha Matcha and some other places are better sorry.

I’m a bit of a matcha snob and this place did not disappoint! I love how many different variations they offer. From the different types of milks to the add ons, there are so many options. The cacao loaf is also spectacular.
