We waited in line for 30 min on a Tuesday night but it was well worth it. The hand rolls were fantastic, the seaweed wrap was fresh and crisp. The lobster was my favorite of the hand rolls. I also recommend the salmon sashimi. The menu itself is pretty small though and while everything was fantastic I’m not sure I’d come back again, there are just too many new places to try.

Solo dinner on a rainy Friday night. The place was packed with a few parties waiting in front of me. Luckily, they have high turnover and I got seated in about 15-20 mins. The menu is by the door and you can decided while a seat opens up. I went for the 6 hand rolls set (toro, yellowtail, salmon, scallop, crab, and lobster) and the chef made every roll fresh as you eat. The warm vinegared rice, chilled seafood, and crispy seaweed was a delightful combination. Every roll was amazing and left me wanting for more. You can also order additional items once you’re done. I decided to wrap up with a toro hand roll. It was a no frills, but super high quality and delicious meal. Will return for sure!

Love this place - amazing solo dining experience! So efficient and delicious. Come here every time I’m in NYC. There can be a bit of a queue, but the meal itself is quite quick. Love the 6 hand roll menu and recommend the scallop roll, not normally a fan of scallops but love what they do with them here!

Some of the best service I have ever encountered, would absolutely recommend. The food is definitely worth waiting the line and the staff really go out of your way to make you feel at home. The baby scallop hand roll was my personal favorite as well as the yellow tail… originally didn’t want to go however I was persuaded by a friend and it ended up being somewhere that I will definitely be returning to soon!

Amazing hand rolls. Ingredients are fresh and simple, fish melts in your mouth. Wrapper is crispy, rice is delicate, fish is creamy and has a burst of flavor. Gratuity is included in price. Everything we had was delicious, the bay scallop, crab and toro rolls were my favorite. The service was excellent, not intrusive at all but also very attentive and threw away garbage. The hand rolls come out quickly. You can eat here pretty quick. Line is long, about half hour -45 min wait at 6 on a wed. It’s all bar seating. The decoration is minimal. There are a couple other locations in the city as well. Very good, I would def come again
