I visited Cha Cha Matcha last week. I was drawn to this location because of its aesthetic interior and great Google review. I tried the Strawberry Matcha latte and was disappointed with the taste. As a frequent matcha drinker, my latte lacked matcha taste and strawberry flavour. All I could taste was the sweetness from the honey & milk. I bought this issue to the attention of the staff, and they were nice enough to give me an additional matcha shot for the drink. This made the drink slightly better, but overall for the price, I am still quite disappointed with the drink. If I lived in the area, I would definitely give this place another shot as I may have had an unlucky visit.

Fun and bright spot for matcha drinks. The draft matcha latte is just excellent, the coconut and oat milk work so well with the matcha flavor. Love the pink and green branding. It works pretty well with the interior decor and even the cups.

Menu with prices as of August 2024. Got the basic matcha latte and it was good. Not really good or mindblowingly yummy, just good. Decor was really cute, and so were the little details like custom napkins, branded straws, etc. But pricey in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

Placebo or not, I got a good amount of sleep with the Purple drink: Lavender, ube, calming blend, matcha & almond milk. 💜💚🍵 Fun interiors but needs better maintenance. I walked in and the smell was dirty water, there was a trail of water on the floor leading to their mop and trash. Service could be more cheerful, I regret the tip. It was a monotonous tone. And heard one of the employees resigning. Recommending it still!

I never went to this establishment before, but I walked by this place every day to get to my school at FIT and this one day recently I had an experience outside with one of their workers that triggered me. So this worker was carrying an ice bucket behind me outside and he hit the ice bucket behind my legs and didn’t even say he was sorry and I said “ like wow really” and he didn’t even respond to that. I literally almost fell, and my leg hurt for a week after. I actually have a physical disability, which makes it even more troubling. 😓 Was actually thinking of trying this place but now after experiencing this, I will never try this place or recommend to anyone. Rude worker that doesn’t even respond to sorry in any way. Be aware and stay away from this location!
